We have nationally trained BSAC instructors who can train all BSAC levels from Ocean Diver to Advanced Diver. Training is a combination of theory lectures, pool training and open water dives. All of which we cover in house. Once an Ocean diver has completed training they are then let loose on the rest of the club. We use suitably qualified divers to introduce the newly qualified to diving within
the club.

We can also carry out crossover training from other diving organisations, who want to continue BSAC training within the club.

An equivalence table of BSAC qualifications and other agencies can be found on the BSAC website under Related Documents (On the right hand side).
We can also provide boat handling courses and arrange VHF courses.

Use of pool and open water training equipment can be arranged by contacting the Equipment Officer. Equipment available for use includes BCD, regulators, weights and tanks. Members must contact the equipment officer the week before the equipment is required and then contact them again the day it is required. Club pool and open water training equipment can be used by other members, if not needed by new trainees.
Kit should not be used or taken without informing the Equipment Officer.
